Fond du Lac police investigate industrial fatality (UPDATE)

FOND DU LAC, Wis. (AP) — Fond du Lac police are releasing the name of the man killed in an industrial accident. He’s 34-year-old Daniel V. Lehner of Fond du Lac.

Police and firefighters were called to Sadoff and Rudoy Industries shortly after 8 a.m. Wednesday where a person was trapped in a piece of equipment.

The victim was extricated and pronounced dead at the scene.

The company is a scrap metal processor.

The death remains under investigation.
