• River Valley Home Improvement Inc., New Albin, Iowa, must pay a $4,200 fall-protection citation, a $4,200 fall-protection-training citation and a $600 abatement-verification citation because the period to contest the violations has ended. The company was issued the citations June 10 and Aug. 4 during and after a roofing job at 4605 Mormon Coulee Road, La Crosse.

• B&P Roofing, Waldo, must pay a $2,400 fall-protection citation because the period to contest the violations has ended. The company was issued the citation July 28 during a roofing job at 2620 Creekview Court, Sheboygan.

• JMW Construction Inc., Appleton, must pay a $2,400 fall-protection citation because the period to contest the violation has ended. The company was issued the citation July 21 during a roofing job at 1520 Highway JJ, Appleton.

• Martin’s Remodeling LLC, Neenah, must pay a $6,000 fall-protection citation and a $6,000 ladders citation because the period to contest the violations has ended. The company was issued the citations July 26 during a roofing job at 1024 Hunt Ave., Neenah.

• Diaz Roofing, Edgerton, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Aug. 9 to reduce a $16,500 fall-protection citation to $11,550. The company was issued the citation July 28 during a roofing job on Town Hall Road in Sun Prairie.

• The Cats of Roofing LLC, Milwaukee, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Sept. 9 to dismiss a $700 abatement-verification citation. The company was issued the citation Aug. 26 following a roofing job at 7565 Heather Knoll Lane, Verona.

• The Samuels Group Inc., Wausau, reached a formal settlement with OSHA on Sept. 14 to reduce a $3,000 scaffolding citation to $1,500. The company was issued the citation Aug. 2, 2010, during an industrial building and warehouse job at 5370 Highway 10 E., Stevens Point.
