ALLENTON, Wis. (AP) — Maysteel says union workers at the company’s Allenton plant have voted to accept a three-year contract and call off a strike.
The company said in a news release Monday that the union accepted the offer after rejecting three previous offers.
Maysteel did not make terms of the agreement public.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel says a union spokesman was not immediately available for comment.
Maysteel is part of Milwaukee-based Everett Smith Group. The company makes electrical cabinets and other sheet-metal enclosures.
The employees are represented by the Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Lodge 2053.
