Second person in Tomahawk mill accident has died

Tomahawk (AP) — The second person injured in an accident at a Tomahawk area packaging plant has died.

Lincoln County authorities said Dustin Dean Hale, 29, died over the weekend at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minn. Hale and Dennis Gougeon, 47, suffered severe burns when fly ash ignited at the Packaging Corp. of America plant July 17. Gougeon died shortly after the accident.

WSAW-TV reported the Michigan men were contractors at the mill. They were working for Inland Systems, an industrial cleaning company from Ontonagon, Mich.
