• Planright General Construction LLC, Sun Prairie, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on July 5 to reduce a $2,800 hazard-communication citation to $1,400, a $2,000 cranes-and-derricks-keeping-clear-of-the-load citation to $0 and a $2,000 fall-protection citation to $1,100. The company was issued the citations June 6 during a framing job at 355 N. Fox River Drive, Appleton.
• McClanathan Construction LLC, Campbellsport, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on July 6 to reduce a $3,300 rough-terrain-forklift citation to $1,800 and a $3,300 eye-and-face-protection citation to $0. The company and OSHA also agreed to dismiss a $3,300 scaffolding citation. The company was issued the citations June 8 during a finishing job at 3761 W. White Hawk Drive, Grand Chute.
• R.F. Sullivan Co., Madison, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on July 10 to reduce a $4,200 stairways-and-ladders citation to $2,520 and two scaffolding citations, totaling $8,400, to $2,520. The company was issued the citations June 26 during a commercial and institutional building job at 5051 Tokay Blvd., Madison.
• P.A. McGuire Construction Inc., Highland, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on July 10 to reduce a $1,200 stairways citation to $800 and two respiratory-protection citations, totaling $2,400, to $800. The company and OSHA also agreed to dismiss a $1,200 respiratory-protection citation. The company was issued the citations June 15 during a commercial and institutional building job at 137 High St., Mineral Point.
• Dave Huff Painting, West Salem, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on July 12 to reduce a $1,800 respiratory-protection citation to $1,080. The company was issued the citation June 15 during a painting and wall-covering job at 2175 E. Park Ave., Chippewa Falls.
• Darold Berger Masonry Inc., Waukon, Iowa, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on July 12 to reduce a $2,800 scaffolding citation to $1,960. The company was issued the citation June 26 during a specialty trade job at 38 Insight Drive, Platteville.
• Badger Environmental & Earthworks Inc., Westby, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on July 12 to reduce a $1,800 requirements-for-excavation-protective-systems citation to $1,260. The company was issued the citation June 25 during a highway, street and bridge job on Sextonville Road in Richland Center.
• Carlson Racine Roofing & Sheet Metal Inc., Racine, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on July 12 to reduce a $2,528.75 fall-protection-training citation to $0. The company was issued the citation June 18 during a roofing job at 5820 Durand Ave., Racine.
• High Quality Contracting Inc., Franklin, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on July 12 to reduce a $2,800 scaffolding citation to $1,500. The company was issued the citation June 18 during a framing job at 432 S. Kane St., Burlington.
