Construction starts on WIS 36 in Racine County

Listen to this articleResurfacing work is under way on WIS 36 from WIS 20 to County Y in Racine County, according to a Wisconsin Department of Transportation news release.
Waukesha-based Payne & Dolan Inc. on Monday began rolling out barrels and, according to the release, will take a break from construction over Labor Day weekend. The $2.4 million project, according to the release, includes milling, repaving, base patching, signals and restriping.
The project is expected to be finished in November.
One lane of traffic will remain open during construction.
