Milwaukee County Supervisor Patricia Jursik will host a forum to discuss development in the south shore area of Milwaukee at The South Shore Option 2.0 event Sept. 27.
She will discuss the status of Lake Parkway extension planning, the Hoan Bridge, the Aerotropolis project and public transit. The mayors of Oak Creek, South Milwaukee, Cudahy and St. Francis will co-sponsor the forum.
Economic development staff and community development authority members will discuss “front-burner” projects in those communities, Jursik said. Ted Torcivia, business manager for General Mitchell International Airport, will discuss the MKE Regional Business Park.
The forum will include open-house booths and presentations on various projects.
It will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Oak Creek Police Department Courtroom, 301 W. Ryan Road. For more information, Jursik can be reached at 414-278-4231.
