The Wisconsin Department of Transportation will discuss a proposed project to replace Interstate 39 bridges over Reserve Street in Stevens Point at a public meeting Oct. 18.
The project, scheduled for summer and fall of 2014, is expected to include redesigning Reserve Street to improve height clearance for vehicles passing under the bridges, according to a news release. WisDOT expects to close Reserve Street and limit I-39 to two northbound and southbound lanes during construction.
The meeting will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Harmony Living Center, 1800 Bluebell Lane, Stevens Point. The meeting will be organized as an open house, and WisDOT staff will be available to answer questions.
