The Wisconsin Department of Transportation will hold a public information meeting Nov. 29 to discuss Highway 11 reconstruction scheduled to start in 2017, according to a news release.

The project will widen Highway 11 to a four-lane divided highway between 92nd Street in Sturtevant and Highway 31 in Mount Pleasant and replace the Union Pacific Railroad bridge that crosses the highway. WisDOT is considering building roundabouts and traffic signals at Highway 11 intersections with 90th Street, 84th Street, Oakes Road and Continental Drive.

The meeting will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. in Community Room 1 of the Mount Pleasant Village Hall, 8811 Campus Drive.
