Beloit casino project trying to get off the ground

Casino, Hotel, Parking and Other Supporting Facilities for Ho-Chunk Nation, Beloit

The Bureau of Indian Affairs will hold a public meeting to gather comments for an environmental impact statement to the Ho-Chunk Nation Beloit casino project.

The casino, a hotel and parking areas would be built on a 33-acre site in Beloit.

The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Dec. 16 in the Aldrich Middle School auditorium, 1859 Northgate Drive, Beloit. Written comments may be sent to Diane Rosen, Midwest Regional Director, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Midwest Region, Norman Pointe II Building, 5600 W. American Boulevard, Suite 500, Bloomington, MN 55347.

Written comments should include the sender’s name, return address and “DEIS Scoping Comments, Ho-Chunk Nation Beloit Casino Project” on the first page.
