ESI Group wins award for distribution facility

Listen to this articleAssociated Builders and Contractors of Wisconsin has awarded ESI Group USA Inc., Hartland, its Gold Award for general construction in its category for industrial projects costing more than $3 million, according to a news release.
ESI Group’s winning project is a 291,000-square-foot distribution facility in Buda, Texas. The project, which cost $45 million and earned Silver status in the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program, was finished in August 2011.
Projects are judged based on safety, scope, value, ABC member involvement and company references, according to the release.
The awards ceremony will be held in February.
