A repaving project on northbound lanes of Interstate 43 will begin Jan. 28, according to a Wisconsin Department of Transportation news release.
Closures have been announced for three of the five bridges included in the project, which will stretch between Highway 83 and Highway 164 in Waukesha County.
The Oakdale Road bridge will close Jan. 28 and remain closed for about four weeks, according to the release. The HiLo Drive bridge will be closed for about four weeks beginning Feb. 4. The Edgewood Avenue bridge will be closed for about 11 weeks beginning Feb. 25. The Fox River and Evergreen Drive bridges will also be repaved and rehabilitated.
Payne & Dolan Inc., Waukesha, is the contractor for the $13.4 million project, which is expected to be complete by Thanksgiving, according to the release.
