Highway 12 rehab subject of March 13 meeting

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting March 13 to discuss its proposed rehabilitation on U.S. Highway 12 in Walworth County.

WisDOT would repave U.S. 12 from Highway 20 to the U.S. 12 and Highway 67 split, according to a WisDOT news release. The project could also include intersection improvements and upgrades to bicycle lanes and pedestrian access to the road.

Exhibits showing WisDOT’s proposed improvements will be displayed at the meeting, and the department is seeking public response to its suggestions.

The meeting will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Elkhorn Wisconsin Army National Guard’s drill room at 401 Fair Ave., Elkhorn.
