A storm sewer culvert pipe project that closed both directions of Interstate 94 from Friday to Sunday was finished seven hours early, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.

The storm sewer culvert pipe replacement is about 500 feet north of Rawson Avenue in Milwaukee County. It was replaced due to its condition, according to a WisDOT new release.

I-94 re-opened at 1:30 a.m. Sunday, according to WisDOT.
