A series of open houses will be held in May and June for a project to build a bridge over the St. Croix River in northwestern Wisconsin and Minnesota.
Representatives of the two states’ departments of transportation will be at the meeting to explain the St. Croix Crossing, which will connect St. Joseph, Wis., and Oak Park Heights, Minn. The first of the meetings in Wisconsin will take place 5 p.m. Tuesday at Hudson High School Cafeteria, 1501 Vine St., Hudson.
The second will be at 6:30 p.m. June 4 at Houlton Elementary School, 70 County Highway East, Houlton. The St. Croix Crossing Project office, 1862 Greeley St., Stillwater, Minn., is open from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and extends its hours to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays.
