Nomadic Ventures wins approval for Park East lease

A short-term lease on two Park East parcels is expected to net Milwaukee County $35,000.

The Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously Thursday to award the seven-month lease to Milwaukee-based Nomadic Ventures Inc.
Nomadic intends to use the site, which is bordered by West McKinley and West Juneau avenues and North 4th and North 6th streets, for a 2014 World Cup festival.
