Gov. Scott Walker on Thursday approved $7.7 million to repair the sagging Leo Frigo bridge.
The bridge, which spans the Fox River in Green Bay, has been closed since Sept. 25 when a support pier dropped 2 feet.
Waukesha-based Zenith Tech Inc. is the project’s general contractor. Work is expected to begin Friday and be complete in mid-January.
