GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — The Packers’ Hall of Fame in Lambeau Field will be closed for over a year as part of the atrium renovation project.
According to the team, workers are dismantling and removing exhibits in preparation for the construction of the new Packers Pro Shop in that area.
The Hall of Fame will close starting on Monday. The new one will open in April 2015 in sections of the first and second floors of the atrium. Construction is set to begin in July 2014.
The nonprofit that operates the hall is expected to loan some memorabilia to the Neville Public Museum. The details and timing of a display haven’t been released yet.
The Packers Pro Shop will remain open through the renovations. Curly’s Pub will close briefly beginning in February 2015.
