Milwaukee County offices will be closed Tuesday due to severe cold weather.
According to a news release from County Executive Chris Abele, all “non-essential employees” should stay home. “Essential employees,” such as sheriff’s deputies and some in the Facilities Management department, are expected to report to work, according to the release.
All county buildings, including the courthouse, will also be closed Tuesday.
This is the second time this month that the county has closed offices due to the extreme temperatures.
