• Inland Systems Inc., Ontonagon, Mich., reached a formal settlement with OSHA on Nov. 22 to reduce a $2,800 personal-protective-equipment citation to $1,500. The company was issued the citation Jan. 8, 2013, during a specialty trade job at 9090 County Road E, Tomahawk.

• Associated Construction of Wisconsin LLC, DeForest, reached a formal settlement with OSHA on Dec. 9 to dismiss a $1,600 fall-protection citation. The company was issued the citation Nov. 15, 2012, during a foundation, structure and building exterior job at 14901 W. Library Lane, New Berlin.

• S&S Technologies Inc., Kimball, Mich., reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Jan. 27 to reduce a $2,800 vehicle-mounted-elevating-and-rotating-work-platform citation to $2,240; a $2,800 powered-industrial-trucks citation to $2,240; a $2,800 personal-protective-equipment citation to $0; two OSHA-Act-of-1970 citations, totaling $5,600, to $4,480; and three slings citations, totaling $8,400, to $6,720. The company was issued the citations Jan. 10 during a building equipment job at 1706 S. 68th St., West Allis.

• Henkels & McCoy Inc., Blue Bell, Penn., reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Jan. 30 to dismiss a $7,000 electric-power-generation-transmission-and-distribution citation and to reduce a $1,100 recordkeeping-forms citation to $770. The company was issued the citations Jan. 9 during an oil and gas pipeline job in Muskego.

• Trecek Builders LLC, Verona, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Jan. 31 to reduce a $1,600 fall-protection citation to $1,120. The company was issued the citation Jan. 6 during a framing job at 2601 Touchmark Drive, Appleton.

• Steven Yoder, Hillpoint, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Feb. 4 to reduce a $3,080 fall-protection citation to $2,156, a $2,200 fall-protection-training citation to $0 and a $2,200 cranes-and-derricks-operation citation to $1,540. The company was issued the citations Jan. 9 during a framing job at 5002 Siggelkow Road, Madison.

• Schlough’s Classic Concrete & Construction LLC, Reedsburg, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Feb. 4 to reduce a $2,000 safety-training-and-education citation to $1,100, a $2,000 specific-excavation-requirements citation to $1,100, a $2,000 requirements-for-excavation-protective-systems citation to $1,100 and a $1,600 concrete-and-masonry citation to $700. The company was issued the citations Jan. 24 during a poured-concrete foundation and structure job at 301 Main St., Waunakee.

• Trunkel Siding & Construction, Baldwin, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Feb. 5 to reduce a $1,600 fall-protection citation to $800. The company was issued the citation Jan. 22 during a roofing job at 166 Apollo Road, River Falls.

• Alpine Insulation Co. Inc., Sheboygan, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Feb. 5 to reduce a $2,100 electrical-design-safety-standards citation to $1,400. The company was issued the citation Jan. 21 during a drywall and insulation job at N59 W13500 Manhardt Drive, Menomonee Falls.

• David Trevino, Appleton, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Feb. 6 to reduce a $2,000 eye-and-face-protection citation to $1,000, a $2,000 fall-protection citation to $1,000 and a $1,600 fall-protection-training citation to $800. The company was issued the citations Jan. 14 during a roofing job at 3125 N. Sunridge Drive, Appleton.

• Amp Electric Inc., Freeport, Ill., reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Feb. 12 to reduce two ladders citations, totaling $14,000, to $7,000. The company was issued the citations Jan. 23 during an electrical job at 802 Northern Lights Road, Verona.
