• American Rack Systems, Frisco, Texas, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on July 22 to reduce a $1,600 personal-protective-equipment citation to $960. The company was issued the citation May 13 during a finishing job at 11800 W. Brown Deer Road, Milwaukee.
• Apex Exteriors Inc., South Elgin, Ill., reached an informal settlement with OSHA on July 24 to reduce a $3,850 aerial-lifts citation to $2,695. The company was issued the citation July 11 during a siding job at 5240 Bishops Bay Parkway, Middleton.
• Jochman Builders Inc., Appleton, paid a $2,400 fall-protection citation July 25. The company was issued the citation May 21 during a single-family housing job at 3317 S. Tahoe Lane, Appleton.
• Bay Area Properties Inc., Abrams, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on July 28 to reduce a $2,000 head-protection citation to $1,000, a $2,000 fall-protection citation to $1,000, a $2,000 electrical-safety-related-work-practices citation to $1,000 and a $1,600 electrical-installation-safety-requirements citation to $800. The company was issued the citations July 2 during a single-family housing job at W1424 Highway 41, Marinette.
• Bryan Kohls, Gillett, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on July 28 to reduce a $2,000 scaffolding citation to $0 and a $2,000 fall-protection citation to $1,000. The company was issued the citations July 2 during a framing job in De Pere.
• Pasek Roofing and Repairs, Two Rivers, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on July 28 to reduce a $2,200 eye-and-face-protection citation to $1,540, a $3,080 fall-protection citation to $2,156, a $3,080 scaffolding citation to $0 and a $2,200 ladders citation to $0. The company was issued the citations July 2 during a roofing job at 1301 S. 14th St., Manitowoc.
