Union contracts extend past loss of prevailing wage

When Republican state lawmakers pushed sweeping changes to Wisconsin’s prevailing wage laws back to Jan. 1, 2017, many in the construction industry were happy to know they would at least have a year and a half to adapt. But the timing does not work out perfectly.
