The Milwaukee Bucks will go over details of their planned downtown arena — including bidding schedules, construction timelines and inclusion goals — during a presentation Monday.
Starting at 5 p.m. in the BMO Harris Bradley Center, the development team will go over the $500 million project as part of a business information session.
An online registration page recommended construction contractors, trade specialty contractors, workforce development organizations and owners of small or disadvantaged businesses attend the event.
Several construction projects related to the arena will be tied to resident hiring and business-development goals, set either by the city of Milwaukee or Milwaukee County.
The team has, in recent months, awarded contracts for key projects related to the arena development. Janesville-based J.P. Cullen & Sons was named the general contractor for the training facility. J.H. Findorff & Son of Madison was tapped to lead the construction of the parking structure.
Construction of the arena is expected to begin this summer.
