Milwaukee County to hold meetings on bus rapid-transit plans

Milwaukee County officials will hold public input meetings this week on a proposed bus rapid-transit system.

The county is doing a study on bringing a potential rapid-transit service to the area. Officials have suggested the buses would connect downtown Milwaukee to the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center, among other major employment areas.

The two meetings will be held:

  • From 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the O’Donnell Park Miller Room, 910 E. Michigan St., Milwaukee; and
  • from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Zoofari Conference Center, 9715 W. Bluemound Road, Wauwatosa.
