COLUMBUS, Wis. (AP) — A teenager injured at a machine shop in Columbus last month has died at a Madison hospital.
Authorities say 17-year-old Dusty Babcock became trapped in a machine at GD Roberts Manufacturing on June 27. Police say Babcock was cleaning scrap metal under a laser cutter when the machine engaged and came down on him.
The teen died Saturday at UW Hospital. The Occupational Health and Safety Administration is investigating.
