H.J. Martin & Son plans to hold a career fair on Thursday as part of plans to hire as many as 100 new employees in December.
The Green Bay-based contractor plans to bring on between 80 and 100 people to fill open positions for carpenters, commercial-flooring installers, drywall tapers, residential-flooring installers, glaziers, concrete polishers, tile and stone setters and commercial-flooring-installer helpers.
Company officials say the need for more employees is being driven from H.J. Martin’s participation in various projects, including several that are a part of the Green Bay Packers’ new Titletown District.
“We are having the best year ever in the 85-year history of the company,” Edward Martin, president and chief executive officer of H.J. Martin.
The hiring fair is being held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at H.J. Martin’s headquarters, 320 South Military Ave.
