Zenith Tech low-bidder on $17M of road work in Racine County

Waukesha-based Zenith Tech is the low-bidder for $17 million worth of road work in Racine County.

Zenith Tech out-bid a rival offer from Zignego Construction for $17.2 million, the only other bid submitted for the reconstruction of parts of Highway 20 and Highway 83 in the village of Waterford, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.

The job calls for rebuilding a bridge and reworking pavement, in addition to improving drainage and safety features. The project runs along West Main Street and First Street between the village’s Buena Park Road and Milwaukee Avenue, and is scheduled to wrap up in November 2019.
