Streich named president and COO at TOTAL Mechanical

Lecia Streich has been named president and chief operating officer of Pewaukee-based TOTAL Mechanical.

Streich joined total mechanical in 2002, and has served as chief financial officer and, most recently, chief operating officer. As president of TOTAL Mechanical, she will succeed Dennis Braun, who has owned and operated the company since 1988 and will remain CEO and continue to own the firm. 

Before joining TOTAL Mechanical, Streich worked for Johnson Controls from 1989 to 2001, serving in several positions: special projects manager, area financial manager, general accounting supervisor and installation accounting supervisor. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Northern Illinois University and an MBA from Marquette University.

TOTAL Mechanical was founded in 1968 and is composed of 11 business units. Of those, seven deal with mechanical services. The other four operate independently, doing business as: Tri-Cor Mechanical, AGI Fabricators, Winkler Blast Gates and E3 Group. Besides its headquarters in Pewaukee, Wisconsin TOTAL has operations in Milwaukee and Janesville.
