PROJECT: Brown County Expo Center

LOCATION: Near Armed Forces Drive and Oneida Street in Green Bay

COST: $93 million

SIZE: 120,000 square feet

START OF WORK: June

PROJECTED OPENING: January 2021

GENERAL CONTRACTOR: Miron Construction Company, Neenah

DESIGNERS: Kahler Slater, Milwaukee; and Populous, Kansas City

SIGNIFICANCE OF PROJECT: This project will replace the Brown County Veterans Memorial Arena and Shopko Hall with a rectangular expo hall with about 120,000 square feet of event space on the ground.

The new expo center will stand near Lambeau Field and the Titletown District, with its shops, restaurants, football field and ice-skating rink, among other attractions.
