Kahler Slater has hired Supina Mapon as a principal and strategic-advisory-services leader at the company’s healthcare team.
A seasoned healthcare consultant who began her consulting career at the Deloitte Consulting and health-care intelligence firm, Sg2, Mapon is recognized for her ability to help health-care clients get through difficult situations to deliver optimal outcomes.
Before joining Kahler Slater, she was one of the leaders of CannonDesign’s advisory-services practice, where she was instrumental in building the practice from the ground up and working side by side with clients and design teams to ensure that strategic and operational changes on planning and design were vetted before being adopted.
Mapon received a Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology from Stanford University and a Master’s in Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
“Our clients need our help integrating research and analytics to make the business case for their most important financial decisions,” said Al Krueger, the executive vice president and healthcare practice leader. “With Supina as our strategic advisory services leader, we can help our clients view their organizations at the macro level to best eliminate duplication of services and investments, reduce cost variation, and establish consistent processes for service line operations in order to achieve true ‘system-ness.'”
