Thousands forced to leave as river dams break in central Michigan

Floodwaters have overtaken dams and forced the evacuation of about 10,000 people from places in central Michigan, where the governor warned that the hometown of Dow Chemical Co. could end up under about 9 feet of water by Wednesday evening and said the state will investigate the dam operators.
