Lower Menominee River delisted from polluted sites tally after 30-year clean-up (access required)

Federal officials have removed the Lower Menominee River from a list of polluted sites on the Great Lakes after a 30-year clean-up effort — the first of five such sites in Wisconsin to shed the designation.
