A Wisconsin plumber and business owner was elected to the board of a national contractor association.
Jessica “Jess” Cannizzaro, president of Wauwatosa-based Milestone Plumbing, was elected Midwest region vice chair of the ABC National Board of Directors. The announcement was made at ABC‘s annual Leadership Institute in Marco Island, Florida, according to the Associated Builders and Contractors of Wisconsin.
Cannizzaro served as chair of the ABC-WI Board of Directors and trained in the ABC-WI apprenticeship program, graduated and launched her own company. She is a master plumber, and ABC regards her as an industry leader and expert on preparing future generations for success in the skilled trades.
“Jess is the perfect candidate to represent our region,” said Kelly Tourdot, president of ABC-WI, in a statement. “She has worked her way up through the industry, understands apprenticeship, business ownership and what is required to both support and grow the workforce.”
