AG Architecture is pleased to announce the promotion of Andrew Alden to senior design architect and member of the AG Leadership Team. Alden will continue leading stakeholder engagement and conceptual and schematic design for complex projects while also managing and mentoring the AG Design Team. His promotion reflects AG’s continued investment in research-driven, experiential design and in leaders who strengthen both client relationships and internal collaboration.
For more than 25 years, Alden has focused his work on living environments, especially senior living communities, where thoughtful design can meaningfully influence how people live, work, heal, and connect. His passion for design is deeply personal and rooted in an early appreciation for the stories, needs, and wisdom of older adults—an experience that continues to shape his commitment to environments that support dignity, independence, and meaningful daily life.
In his new position, Alden will have an even broader platform to shape the firm’s design direction and deepen AG’s commitment to connecting research with practice. He is recognized for bringing empathy, listening, and respect to every engagement and for helping teams translate insight into stronger design outcomes for clients and communities.
