The new building will be used by the town's Department of Public Works to store vehicles and other equipment. It will replace a cinder-block building that had been too small for the town's needs and had fallen into disrepair.
The new building, which will be used to expand MSOE's educational offerings in artificial intelligence, cyber security, robotics and other things, is being made possible by a $34 million donation from the MSOE graduate Dwight Diercks and his wife, Dian Diercks.
