Crews constructed the Little Chute Windmill on Thursday at the Van Asten Visitor Center in the village of Little Chute. The 100-foot windmill was assembled with the help of a 350-ton crane operated by Ideal Crane Rental Inc., Madison. The Boldt Co., Appleton, is general contractor on the project and several portions of the windmill were made by the Dutch company Verbij Design and Construction and were shipped to the site. The windmill is expected to be complete in July. The visitors' center will be complete in November.
