I’ll admit when I think of Cambridge, Mass.-based MIT I see a bunch of eggheads with black-rimmed glasses walking around debating the future of the best way to split an atom or what you get when you combine an alligator with a crocodile. It turns out they’re also doing some good work for the construction industry.
