The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-St. Paul District is recognizing Plain, Wis.-based Edward Kraemer & Sons Inc. for safe work on the $47 million Lock and Dam 3 project near Red Wing, Minn.
Wis. firms get $664K from Minn. government shutdown
A year after the state government shut down because of a budget impasse, the Minnesota Department of Transportation has paid out $5.59 million in claims to contractors who suffered losses related to the shutdown, including more than $664,671 to Wisconsin-based companies.
