Mankato Kasota Stone, a company that spent 125 years quarrying the distinctive limestone used on handsome buildings in Minnesota and around the U.S., is closing its doors.
Beloit-based Corporate Contractors Inc. has acquired the assets of Custom Ditching Inc., a local quarry with limestone reserves that span 60 acres in the southern Wisconsin town, according to a news release from Corporate Contractors.
