The 2026 National Electrical Code outlines lighting outlet and switch requirements for dwellings, guest rooms, and all occupancies including garages and utility spaces.
Firefighters warn single-stair housing bill could put lives at risk
A group that represents more than 4,000 firefighters statewide has come out in strong opposition to a bill that would allow multifamily dwellings with up to six stories be served by a single staircase.
