Pieper Electric acquires Green Bay-based HiTech Controls

New Berlin-based  has acquired Green Bay-based .

Pieper Electric provides electrical construction, service, industrial, electrical-panel manufacturing, automation, waste-water treatment and power distribution. The 69-year-old company has more than 850 employees and has operations in the Milwaukee metropolitan area, as well as Madison, Neenah, Kenosha, Janesville, Merrill and Park Falls.

HiTech specializes in robotics, fill-project engineering, custom-engineered assembly machines and vision-inspection systems. It has operations in Green Bay, Neenah and Cincinnati and employs 58 people.

Rick Parra, president and chief operating officer of Pieper Electric, said that HiTech was sought out because of its compatibility with Pieper.
