A crew from Fitchburg-based Tri-North Builders pours concrete Oct. 28 in the parking garage of The Corners of Brookfield. Tri-North and Pepper Construction, Barrington, Ill., have joined forces as the project’s designer and builder. When complete in 2017, the 750,000-square-foot project will stand on 19 acres and feature retail stores and restaurants. The Milwaukee-based Mandel Group will also manage 235 apartments at the site.
