Supplier giant Uline is looking to build a 1.2 million square foot facility in Kenosha, following the completion of another one of its warehouses.
The company asked for a rezoning and a conditional use permit so it can construct a $120 million distribution warehouse on the southwest corner of 38th Street and 128th Avenue, city records showed. The supplier will build on a vacant site near a building it recently completed at 3002 128th Avenue.
The Kenosha City Plan Commission was scheduled to meet April 24 to discuss both requests.
The building’s exterior will be built with concrete precast and glass and will look like the existing building to the northeast and the first four buildings at the original Kenosha campus, city officials said. The warehouse will have trailer docks and stalls, parking and stormwater management facilities, officials added.
In December, Uline opened what it called the largest warehouse in Wisconsin with 1.44 million square feet in Kenosha County, company officials said. The new warehouse was expected to employ over 200 people from warehouse associates to managers.
Uline has added more than a dozen buildings to Kenosha County over the years, including its corporate headquarters in Pleasant Prairie. In December 2024, the company reported it had more than 26 million square feet across 13 North American locations, aided by projects in Detroit, Hudson, Wisc. and Lacey, Wash.
