THE BLUEPRINT:
A new manufacturing and warehouse building is coming to Kenosha.
McShane Construction Co. on Monday announced it will build a 175,000-square-foot industrial facility for an unnamed client in the city of Kenosha. The client will use the facility for manufacturing and storing metal products, officials said.
The project cost wasn’t shared, but it’s expected to be completed in June 2026. Construction officially started in May.
“This facility is tailored to meet our client’s specific operational needs, from advanced manufacturing capabilities to streamlined logistics,” said Tom Beres, regional vice president of industrial at McShane. “Our design-build model allows us to deliver a highly functional, efficient space that will support their long-term productivity and growth.”
The 174,367-square-foot precast building will be located on an 86-acre site, company officials said. The project will feature 77,100 square feet of manufacturing space and 52,500 square feet of warehouse with a 40-foot clear height. Additionally, the building will have a 9,000-square-foot office space with a metal panel exterior.
There will be 10 truck dock doors and four drive-in doors, officials said. The site will have 171 parking stalls.
McShane will also build a bridge to bring railroad tracks to the site, officials said. Construction started in May, officials added.
