WisDOT awards TEA grant for building expansion in Minong

The state on Tuesday awarded a $177,316 state grant to the village of Minong to help Link Snacks Inc. expand its manufacturing building.

The pays for half of the $354,632 cost of reconstructing Railroad Street in the village to help accommodate employee and truck traffic. The expansion will create 50 jobs, according to a new release.

The village is paying for the other half of the project, which includes a 32-foot paved street and two, 15-foot travel lanes, according to the release. Link Snacks is investing more than $2.2 million in its expansion.
