Wis. construction jobs increase in November

Wisconsin increased 2.8 percent in November, the eighth-highest gain of any state during the same period.

According to a news release from Associated General Contractors of America, Wisconsin was one of 30 states to add construction jobs last month. The numbers are seasonally adjusted.

Indiana saw the biggest gains with 4.8 percent in November, while Louisiana had the lowest rank, losing 2.6 percent.

From November 2012 to last month, Wisconsin construction jobs went up 4.3 percent, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Wisconsin was one of 39 states to add jobs over that year.

Over the course of the year, Mississippi saw the biggest job gains at 16.5 percent, with Montana at the low end losing 4 percent.
