Milwaukee-based Graff Faucets is planning to build a 100,000-square foot headquarters in Oak Creek.
The city of Oak Creek Plan Commission on Tuesday approved early plans for the project at 1901 and 1941 E. Rawson Avenue. Brookfield-based Briohn Building Corp. presented designs and took part in a pre-application meeting in April 2024.
The project will have 14,000 square feet of office and showroom space and the rest of the building will be slated for warehouse use, according to plans. There will be 20,000 square feet for a potential future tenant and 24,210 square feet and 8,800 square feet set aside for building additions, a site map showed.
Graff wants to relocate from its existing Milwaukee facility at 3701 W. Burnham Street and establish its U.S. headquarters in Oak Creek, plans showed.
The Oak Creek Common Council will meet Oct. 1 and consider a conditional use permit and certified survey map, said Kristi Laine, the city’s community development director. The project will go back to the Plan Commission on Oct. 8 to review site, landscaping and architectural plans. The meeting Oct. 8 will be the last regarding Graff’s new headquarters, she added.
Graff manufactures luxury and designer-based plumbing and hardware collections, including bathroom and kitchen products, plans showed. The company has locations throughout Europe and works with notable designers. The firm isn’t open to the public, according to plans.
