Milwaukee Water Street nightlife locations for sale

Two longtime nightlife spots are for sale in Milwaukee.

Trinity Three Irish Pubs and Vagabond, located at 125 E. Juneau Ave. and Vagabond at 1122 N. Edison St. are listed for sale. The price for both locations has not been listed yet.

Kevin Barry and David Bartelt of The Barry Co. will lead the marketing effort, the commercial real estate firm announced.

In early July, Vagabond announced it would close for good on July 18, OnMilwaukee reported. The restaurant was known for its tacos and margaritas.

Both Vagabond and Trinity are owned by Matt Schmidt, the CEO of Water Street Brewery Group, through different corporate entities, Urban Milwaukee reported. The group also controls The Harp Irish Pub, The Brewery and Water Street Brewery locations in several Milwaukee suburbs.

Barry Co. officials said the owner reached out to them to list the properties exclusively for sale.

Trinity Three Irish Pubs will operate as normal while the property is marketed, real estate officials added.

Water Street, known for its stretch of nightlife bars, clubs and restaurants, has seen some of its businesses close over the past few months. Duke’s On Water and Varsity both closed their doors in May.
