BUILDING BLOCKS: River North Apartments
The project is in Manitowoc’s River Point District, on the former site of the Canadian National Railyard. River Point is an extension of Manitowoc’s historic downtown, connecting to nearby shops, restaurants, museums, breweries, trails and more. Because of its spot on a peninsula, nearly every apartment at River North will have panoramic views of Lake Michigan or the Manitowoc River.
Manitowoc says it will split into 2 companies in 2016
Crane-maker and food service company Manitowoc announced Thursday it will split itself in two, a move encouraged by activist investors.
