AG Architecture has hired Dave Manke and Lexi Sarter.

Manke returns to AG Architecture and has more than 12 years of industry experience. Sarter is a 2016 graduate of the architectural studies program at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

CSI to host Milwaukee-area construction talk

The Construction Specifications Institute-Milwaukee chapter will host a session on Metro Milwaukee Building Projects at 5 p.m. Jan. 9 at the DoubleTree Hotel, Milwaukee City Center, 611 W. Wisconsin Ave.

The discussion will include the many projects currently in development, planning, design, and construction phases in the metro Milwaukee area. Registration and networking starts at 5 p.m., dinner is at 6 p.m. and the program starts at 6:30 p.m.

Cost is $35 for CSI members, $40 for guests and non-members and $20 for students.

Lancor, H.J. Martin win national FCI award

— and the installation team led by John Lancor — received the most votes from readers of Floor Covering Installer Magazine, and have been named as the winner in the Commercial-Carpet category of the 2016 FCI Installation Awards for their work on the Fox Valley Hematology and Oncology Center in Appleton.

Lancor, the on-site foreman on the project, was joined on the project by fellow H.J. Martin installers David Stevenson, Jake Greenwald, Rob Schultz and Mike Weidner.

H.J. Martin and Son’s Nick Mooren was a 2014 recipient of an FCI Installation Award for his work on the Madison Central Public Library.

Eppstein Uhen names 5 new hires

has hired Tory Schulz, Renee Riviere, Bill Fedun, Steven Rothe and Julie Graham.

Schulz joins EUA’s Learning Environments team as a project specialist. Riviere joins the Madison office as a senior designer with emphasis in interiors. Fedun joins EUA’s Madison office as a project architect for the Madison Studio. Rothe joins EUA’s Learning Environments team as an interior designer. Graham joins the firm as a project architect.
